Prende le sue mosse il progetto “International design Galatina”, presentato in conferenza stampa oggi, alle 12, presso la sala conferenze provinciale di Palazzo Adorno. Vi hanno partecipato i promotori del progetto: Attila Piccolo (marketing adviser), Marco Maggioni (industrial designer), Giorgio Gurioli (industrial designer), Giuliano Bavaj (ingegnere biomedico), progettista “padre” del robot Gilberto.
Inoltre, Andrea Montinari (presidente di id&a associazione di imprese, design & affini). “International design Galatina”– impresa & cultura nel Salento, ospitato presso gallerie teatro Tartaro di Galatina è patrocinato da Confindustria-Lecce, Regione Puglia, Città di Galatina e con la collaborazione della Provincia di Lecce. La presentazione del progetto pilota di Glocal Marketing su creatività ed impresa nel Salento mira a valorizzare il territorio e le aziende che vi operano, per una attuazione e proiezione a livello internazionale, conservando ben salda l’identità locale che riflette l’operatività di una zona da un florido potenziale di creativo. Le tematiche affrontate durante la manifestazione verteranno proprio sullo sviluppo, la valorizzazione, le metodiche e l’approccio della realizzazione creativa presenti nelle molteplici realtà dell’intreccio produttivo della zona, con particolare riferimento anche ai giovani e futuri designer del Salento. Durante la manifestazione sarà possibile ammirare oggetti di design affermati a livello internazionale, alcuni in mostra al Moma di San Francisco ed al Moma di New York. E, in anteprima nazionale, verrà esposto e reso operativo il primo robot interattivo con gli uomini. Nato da circa due mesi, con l’appuntamento di Galatina sarà di fatto presentato in anteprima mondiale, per questo si sta ultimando l’addestramento in Svizzera. Il robot giungerà insieme al suo tutor, un ingegnere elettronico. Inoltre, sarà inaugurato il primo conceptstore di design presso gallerie Teatro Tartaro.

And, in the national premiere, the first robot interactive with men will be exhibited and made operational.
